Default 1939 DLX dash trim

There are three (or four) pieces of chrome trim on 39 Ford DLX dashes: one between the speedo and cluster and two around the clock. Another goes to cover the radio holes if not so equipped. These pieces are grooved and the grooves are to be painted brown. Does anyone know if this is the lighter shade of brown (like chocolate milk) used on sunvisors, rear view, etc. or the darker brown used on clock housing and glovebox hinge, or some other shade of brown?

Thanks

It is hard to describe shades of color. I would almost call the color similar to butterscotch pudding.
