Default 1926 t...whats it worth???????

hi everyone, i have the opertunity to buy a 1926 ford that the owner has been keeping in his barn for years. he's 80 years or so, and to my understanding original owner. he go's out every year and starts it up and lets in run to keep it free. its a grain truck, i have not seen it but my boy has, and he said looks good, needs a paint job. thats about all i know about it......i know its a pretty vag. discription, but was wondering what a guy would pay for something like this, or what it would be worth.

thanks
kendal

Hi. If it is a grain truck it is probably a Model TT. Big trucks aren't typically as valuable as cars but if it's all intact I am guessing 2 or 3 grand (or less) should own it. He can't be the original owner since it was built before he was born.

John Otis is pretty close. I mite and have been inclined to give a little more due to the condition of the vehicle. No rust is a big plus, and being all intact with good to fair cab wood is another concern. Once upon a time I gave 4500. for one of mine that had no rust, good top an wood, an had been freshened in the engine department. I still ended up with ten in it rebuilding the rest. Just depends how well you want to restore. Good Luck in your decision. Monte
