1934 houdaille lever shock adjustment
Hi,
Are the ‘34 front shocks adjustable? If so, how are they adjusted? Having trouble uploading pics but can try again later if necessary. Thanks, Scott |

If they have an adjustment needle it is right for more resistance.

Re: 1934 houdaille lever shock adjustment
It would seem that over the years there are a couple of different styles. Some are not adjustable. If they are adjustable it would be in the center of the main shock shaft. Some have the adjuster in plain view and a slight rotation of the adjuster CW (more tension) CCW (less). One style has a cover over an adjuster screw. The cover can be screwed off using a wrench across the flats.

Thanks Terry! So mine might be adjustable using the slot under the cap/cover. I will take a closer look tonight. Very helpful!
