Default 1937 ford dash parts needed

I’m restoring a 1937 Ford Woodie and need the interior dash trim, or advise from someone that can assist in refurbishing or re-plating what I have. Also looking for a nice glove box lock/latch.
Any advise or direction would be much appreciated.

Hi Everyone, dfoster I've had excellent results from several of the vendors Seth Swoboda kindly listed.

Check out post #14 as well as the others.

You might also place an ad in the SWAP meet wanted section.

If you are looking for the chrome trim strips for a 1937 deluxe, there were a couple of people that reproduced those several years ago. I bought a set off a fellow out in Arizona, but I don't think he is making them any longer.

The originals are difficult to remove without damage. I ground off the swage from the backside, before attempting to remove, and still managed to break one of the small ones on the glove box lid. They are very fragile and would have to be handled very carefully to survive replating.

I see glove box handles come up on e-bay fairly often and I have had good luck placing a want ad on this site as Deuce Lover suggested. Watch out for the scammers.

Good luck on your search and with your restoration.

I had the exact same experience removing as you…I too broke one. Aside from that, that in poor shape. The gentleman you reference from AZ. I think I read a thread last night and found him. We shared some info back and forth but he’s yet to tell me if he can help. I hope he can.

We communicated today....and yes he can make the parts I need, brand new & chrome plated. I found him on the Ford Barn. My advise is you contact him direct at the following email address. [email protected]
I hope he does not get offended that I've published his email.
I sent him payment today for my pieces. This will provide the added charm necessary to make the dash perfect. Very excited.
