1934 ford tack strip
What is a good material to use for the tack strip. I have some vinyl tack strip material but it is not the right size. I tried to glue it in with 3m emblem adhesive and it is not holding very well.

Re: 1934 ford tack strip
I used hard leather belting I installed the top 3 years ago and the tacks have held with no problems.

Re: 1934 ford tack strip
The original material and its metal channel was originally riveted to the groove around the perimeter of the opening in the top. Small screws, etc. would do the job as well.
