Default Re: Hoof head

I found one at an estate sale. It was cracked but repaired. Also 12 thou had to be taken off due to warpage. I have It on my coupe with a stipe cam, vortex dual updraft, and light port work. Runs pretty hard. It's much thicker than a stock head. I ended up having to make my own distributor drive and get longer head studs.

Only thing I've found is in reference to the john c hoof company. They went out of buisness sometime around 1930. There's also court documents for a lawsuit between hoof and cloyes timing gears
