Original Dealer Invoice Mystery?
I hope there is a lot of invoice information out there, because I don't know much about them. I bought some from ebay about 10 years ago, and find it interesting that Ford didn't seem to have any standards for the forms.
Some have the engine number typed in the invoice, while others have the number penciled in. The same goes for key numbers, and some don't have the numbers listed on the invoice. Some have the paint color typed in, and other may have it penciled in or not listed. Also it seems strange that I've never found a Twin Cities invoice. I would like to find one to look at or buy, but no luck so far. Here is a link to some dealer invoices I posted a couple years ago. I find it interesting that the coupe cost $20 more than the Tudor. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...701#post976076 |

I forgot to mention there was a register on a Luger Forum of magazines with original ser no#. Every part of a WWI luger was marked with it's Ser No# including the two magazines. Great thing to have for a collector to go to.
