I installed a Stipe distributor cam today. Although there are different ways to set the timing on a Model A, I still prefer Les Andrews method of using a test light to indicate exactly when the points open and close. Otherwise, with these old eyes its difficult to see the top of the cam lobe.

It is a nice way. I like the light also.
