Default Wanted: Pictures of 1933 Ford front hood latch/catch and hinge

I need some good, close, detailed pics of a 1933 Ford car hood - the front latches or catches, and where the hood hinge meets the radiator. I have a complete hood that came with the car (whew!) but only have 4 (2 on each side) bars that come off the radiator and no latch parts at all. I am hoping the radiator is the correct one, since it came with the car - it had been parked in a garage since 1957. I have found latch kits but want to make sure they are correct, and know placement etc. Also curious if anyone has sourced the litte screws that attach the grille to the top of the radiator. Thank you in advance for the help! Tim :-)

Roy Nacewicz will have the correct screws for attaching the grill.

Pics are not possible for a couple weeks as I'm in FL but by your description you have 34 bars????? . 33 lower grille to radiator brackets are not simply bars . There should be MANY on here that can post a pic of this . If you still need this in a couple weeks lemme know as I have this kinda stuff around back home .

Thank you for those pics, I don't recall the tin work on the sides of the rad you show being there. Will have to shoot a pic of my radiator to see what I really have - it appears a match at the grille to the top, but those 4 brackets on mine have me stumped - these are not what the grille mounts to, way too far back. Maybe it's pickup or something.... Will shoot a picture and post it here soon - and someone can help me figure this out. The car is a while from being on the road in any shape or form, so have some time! :-)

Randy supplies you with the correct pictures of the grille to hood brackets. With out a picture for identification correct becomes a guessing game. Assuming your replacement radiator is correct for a 1933/34, if the radiator just has 4 flat removable bands on the side core support that extend to the rear of the radiator with holes for mounting the grille, those brackets are for Pickup truck grille installation and that radiator was from a pickup.

FYI, when installing, I reccomend removing the splined stud, and using a allen screw and ny-lock nut. That stupid splined deal stripped on both sides while driving,,, WHAT CAN I SAY ... VINTIQUE QUALITY
