30 cabriolet whipcord
What is the correct location for the whipcord on the front edge of the door? Is it on the door or along the body? I have seen it on both locations. Thanks for any info.

Re: 30 cabriolet whipcord
I put the front inside door lacing on the door when we did our 68-C. From the few pictures that I was able to find, I was only able to get something of an approximation from one (Bob's modelahouse.com). In thinking of the two options, there is no way to hold the windlace around the dash panel if it were to be attached on the cowl side, but there is a virtual continuous line on the door, first from behind the door panel, and then running up on the cowl side of the front door window frame(s). I hope that this helps.

Not the best photo, but mine is installed on the A pillar, and fits nicely |
