Pate swap meet
No body has mentioned this lately. Who is going? Mr Parker always goes and I enjoy speaking with him. I bought a model a p/u body from the gentleman he sets up with in 2019 ( I’m sorry but I forgot his name). I will have a few items to sell space 1-1a ave 5. Anybody else and what are you bringing?

Re: Pate swap meet
I'll be there. Missed 2019 due to family illness and of course the "Rona" in 2020. Not bringing anything to sell (though I should). Mainly going to get out of the house and see what "treasures" i can find. I'll be there on Tuesday.

Re: Pate swap meet
I will be there. Our club is one of the main groups who puts it on. They have already reached record breaking sales. It will be different this year. 1/2 on pavement, 1/2 on dirt. I know this "sucks", but the alternative was not having a swap meet at all.... so this is better. The other side of the track where we normally have Pate is being used as the largest vaccine distribution hub in the country. Next year we should be back in the normal location.
If you hear anyone speaking negatively about the change, just remind them it was the only option to actually have the swap meet. Just focus on the good- you get to be with friends hunting rust. It should also be noted that the Pate Coordinator, David Anderton, passed away last week. He was a very close friend and he spent his last days ensuring the swap meet would go on as planned. Literally spent his last days out there even though he knew he was very sick. So please be patient if things aren't as "organized" as they normally are.
