I used some from EMS about 7 years ago to repair a F-3. They weren't perectly symetrical but since they had to be reworked to fit the F-3, were a good starting point. Don't recall if they came directly from EMS or from Sacramento or Carpenter

I think they all originate from EMS. I used one a few years ago and if I recall it was a little off but not horrible.

There's a small shop who is making some patch panels for F-series, and from what I've heard they are excellent. The owner has a thread on Ford Truck Enthusiasts that is a great display of his skills: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/12...ching-lfd.html
He's going into semi-production on a number of the patch panels for these trucks. Historically the EMS and the chinese POS's sold by some shops require a fair amount of work.

our f-1 panels fit correctly! the problem is f-2 f-3 fenders are often transplanted to f-1 yes they will bolt up,

but the wheel opening on f-2 f-3 is different and owners assume the f-2 fender is correct

the f-4 to f-6 are much bigger fenders

Why doesn't any one make steel replacement fenders. That's what I'd like to see.

Page 72 of the new Dennis Carpenter catalog says that they'll soon have 48-52 front fenders. I hope that's the case as I've known guys in need.

I haven't used any of them myself, and from what I've heard your rear-lower patches do fit well enough. The ones at the upper fender to lower fender seem to be a problem, as well as the cab corners. You're not making those any more, it appears?

F1 is its own set of fenders (small opening). F2-F6 share the same fenders (large openings). F7-F8 and COE share their own fenders (largest opening).

I used the lower rear patch panels from Dennis Carpenter for both of my F1 PanelTruck front fenders a little over a year ago. They fit well and were about $100 per side. Most every vendor seems to use the same illustration (picture) of the patch panel, so I "assume" they are all selling the same thing but at widely varying prices & shipping. The product itelf from DC fit well but was of heavier gage galvanized steel than the fender itself, also the spot welded reinforcement in the replacement panel popped loose and needed to be rewelded back into place. All in all, not a bad product.....RooDog
