Default steering column needed for 1955 C600 COE

Hi all, Im needing a back up steering column for my Tool Truck. I dont want to modify anything until I know I can put this truck back to stock. The truck is in fantastic original condition and functions as designed currently....that's the issue....I will be driving this into car dealerships and other places where I will need to maneuver and the original "armstrong" steering will wear thin on me very soon after finally putting this truck into service. I will be going the ELECTRIC Power steering route. It will require cutting the column and shaft. I guess I could always put it back to original by welding everything back up but I wanted to have the original parts on the shelf for that day when the truck gets only driven in a parade or the such and can have the "armstrong" steering re installed....Actually I would like back up parts from the front axle to the steering wheel if anyone has them for this 1955 Ford C600 Cab Over Chassis. Im a disciple of the "Boy Scout's Motto".....always be prepared

There is a column for sale in the swap meet section under late model V8.
