Re: rad emblems
a-bone newby,
My understanding is that the 1928/29 Canadian Radiator Emblem was a Very Dark Blue, sometimes appearing Black. 1930 Canadian emblem, as in my Avatar, shown below, is similar to the earlier version without any Enamel. It seems to be a bronze base metal and either Nickel or dull Chrome plated. 1931 Emblem should be the same stamped Stainless Steel as used in the US built Model A's. I'm sure someone will add to this if I didn't get it entirely correct. Darryl in Fairbanks |

During 1929 Canada started to use the plated emblem, a dull nickel. The one on my car is made by a company in Toronto. For 1930 the emblem was still a dull plating, either nickel or chrome. These were either US or Canadian made. 1931 was the usual US style s/s emblem. |
