Under the Hood is All Ford, but is an OHV 302.Interior is Woodgrain with Leather and Rollup Windows,I rebuilt the Latches and fabricated new plungers and Dovetails from Stainless Steel, also used 29 Model A Doorlock escutchons and created my own suicide door locks,I have several sets of wheels including Wires but at the moment the best tires I have for it are on the old americans in the album pictures.I know "The Barn" is dedicated to Flatheads and I do own 2 stock Model A's.just thought some of you "Barners" would like to see the Body Modifications, most comments are positive and I do appreciate all comments pro & con. Thanks for looking at my 33.

Checked out your album, you do some incredible work! One post read "in front of my old shop", that explains the skill needed to fabricate something on this level. Once again, Very nice! And by the way, I dig the american's but then again I love the big 'n little look.

Thank You, I lived in that shop (rented ) for 25 years, raised 2 kids there after an ugly divorce. a one man operation with A helper,I wrote estimates ,haggled with Ins. Adjusters, ordered the parts, fixed wrecks, matched the paint, detailed the jobs and dealt with the customers collected the money, did the Banking and all the paperwork until the The state of California and the Insurance Companies decided they wanted total control of the Repair Industry. They Regulated me out of Business,I was forced out when I could'nt get Business Insurance for my shop, the Bay Area Air Quality Board decided I owed them $6,000.oo because I used Turpentine (100% Pine Tree Juice) to preclean before painting. The Insurance Companies intimidated my most loyal customers into going to the Shops of The Ins. Co's choice by telling them they would not guarantee the work if they brought the job to my Shop ( the shops guarantee their own work not the Ins. Co.) but people are easily intimidated, afraid to be cancelled or their policies Rai$ed ,hell most people worry about turning in a claim in the first place. So, I moved back to Nevada,Built a nice Shop on My Dads and My Property we had bought years ago,No Landlord,No Insurance Companies,No E.P.A. or Bay Area Air Quality Board, I work on my own cars and Life is Good. Thanks for looking at my 33

yep, their goal is to eliminate the small businesses like Dry Cleaners,Chrome Shops ,Auto Collision and Paint Shops etc.any one who creates a fume of any kind no matter how miniscule, the ignorance involved amazes me.no wonder their Fiscal situation is a disaster.
Thanks for appreciating my 33

Thanks, it was built from itself, just rearranged the pieces I cut off,so the curveature and fit if the sheetmetal was a natural.and with the added weatherstrip around the perimeter, the top seals very well with no wind noise or water leak in bad weather or while washing the car.

I really am impressed by the workmanship you put into your '33. Doing a job like that one takes a man who has great training but also lots of talent and you have way more talent than any one person should have. By the way, i really hate to see that beautiful Indian Chief sitting out in that hot, hot, hot Nevada sun. I have a great place for it in my shed here in Oklahoma.

I saw the '33 and visited with Dave at the Grand National-Lake Tahoe. It is indeed a great looking car and it is very Professionally done. The body would pass for an original body style by Ford if you didn't know better. Again Dave, enjoyed talking to you about the car

I've looked at this car many times on the HAMB and never get tired
of seeing it.
The workmanship is so beautifully done, and the result is amazing.
Not many altered car bodies reach this level of perfection.
