Regarding completion: Exactly. Stop posting and get back to the shop.

Regarding 425: Ah, shoot. Help a brother out! One question: Will it help improve my gas mileage?

Im sure with some fine tuning the gas mileage can be improved with the installation of the timid and mild P-425 cam. Now about completion The boss would not approve overtime so things are at a stand still until the first shift Monday.

Gas mileage (low that is) will be improved upon . . . it should be even lower with the P-425 . . . but you'll look and sound cool, so who cares!

I've ran both the 3/8 and 425 - my choice for the street would depend on the cubic inches of the engine, the valvetrain and the rest of the car . . . gearing, flywheel, weight, etc..

The 3/8 is obviously a more timid cam - so in a heavier car, with a light flywheel, with lower gears - might be a better choice than a 425. I guess the final answer is "it all depends!" LOL!

You'll do well with either one

The 3/8 likes gas is is not good for mileage .
The 425 is much better.
But i swap the 425 out for a Schneider 270F on my 304ci .
More Street friendly .
The 425 kicks in way too late.
I wanted a H&C 6732 from Pete , but since we dont have cheques anymore in Germany for payment
And his post office is not able to ship to forgein countries ,Schneider is my second best choice.
I used the 270F before with great results, but always like to try something new.
So if anybody on here is able to help me to get a h&c cam from Pete , i would be very happy.
I will post the results .
Regards
Michael
PS .... all my info is from what i tried , not reading the internet.
Best all around cam for big engines .... isky 404-A
Did 104mph in pendine
102mph for schneider 270F :-)
I am not a racer , just like flathead engines.
