Having trouble w/ replies timing out
I freely admit I have much to learn about old Fords and even more to learn about computers. If I take more than a minute or two to think about a reply I'm typing, I get logged off and lose what I'm trying to submit. Is any one else having this trouble and how do I correct this? - John

Re: Having trouble w/ replies timing out
John, I used to have that problem with another site that i no longer visit. The other site would just kick you off. Very frustrating. I got in the habit of writing my response in MS Word (or another Word Processor), then copy and pasted into the site.
Never had that problem with this site though. I use a Mac so I can't tell you how to 'fix' your problem but you might try the Word Processor route until you can figure it out. Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 01-24-2013 at 07:33 PM. |

Re: Having trouble w/ replies timing out
Thank you both. I will look into the suggestions. I wrote out 2 replies last night and gave up when I lost them both. Won't be in my barn working on my truck for a while with it -6 outside. It is so cold up here right now. - John

Like others suggested, write out your reply before posting either longhand or by computer and do a copy/paste. |
