Default Having trouble w/ replies timing out

I freely admit I have much to learn about old Fords and even more to learn about computers. If I take more than a minute or two to think about a reply I'm typing, I get logged off and lose what I'm trying to submit. Is any one else having this trouble and how do I correct this? - John

John, I used to have that problem with another site that i no longer visit. The other site would just kick you off. Very frustrating. I got in the habit of writing my response in MS Word (or another Word Processor), then copy and pasted into the site.
Never had that problem with this site though. I use a Mac so I can't tell you how to 'fix' your problem but you might try the Word Processor route until you can figure it out.

Thank you both. I will look into the suggestions. I wrote out 2 replies last night and gave up when I lost them both. Won't be in my barn working on my truck for a while with it -6 outside. It is so cold up here right now. - John

It is usually your ISP rather than the site that is timing you out. AOL especially.

Like others suggested, write out your reply before posting either longhand or by computer and do a copy/paste.
