well went to the show yesterday and honestly, a little disappointed.

would guess the show attendance and vendors to be down a good 25%.

any other opinions on the matter? I didnt buy anything.

still enough attendance that the aisles were full of people making it hard to move, yes not as many vendors but I think saturdays rain made people think it would be a muddy mess

Agree the show' dwindling, like everything else. Very little Model A stuff. Small car corral

I bet the goose poop was slick. i have had great luck there over the years. I'm now too far away to attend. One of my cousins who ran a yellow model A pickup and been seen we come sometimes.

Howard County MD had very few Model A parts. One vender had about a dozen fenders. The first vender I came to had a floor train for #2. Another had 2 huge tubs of "match box" cars. I bought 80 to give away as train shows.

Westminster had one ev-8 generator and a generator/alternators.
Neither had cars.

I'm hoping to attend Winchester and Luray in May. Luray is growing! mostly Model T and a few Model A parts. Several cars. Them old boys from Westy Virginia slip over the border with barn finds. A few years back I grabbed 30 license plate holders, 10 of which had the mega-rare eV-8 six-sided washer!!!

NJ event has been growing over the past few years. Despite the tolls you pay to cross from MD into DE and NJ, it’s worthwhile. The slight drop in vendors this year was understandable- they had about 8 inches of rain the day before. The weather has been tough on the early spring swap meets in 2024. Hopefully it warms up a good bit before Spring Carlisle.
