Can't beat that for $35K. A great deal for someone.
Really nice that it hasn't been messed with.

The '39 Ford convertible coupe is one of the most beautiful production cars ever made. I once owned one of those, same color as this one. Mine was in nowhere near the wonderful condition of this one though.
After owning mine for just a couple of years, I sold it. The convertible top, on these, is just one PITA to operate and being a manual system made it worse. Imagine, unfolding and then folding an oversized Union Oil road map, made of military grade canvas, steel and hard wood that must weigh 400 or 500 hundred pounds. A tough one-person job.
Give me the power topped mechanism in my '47 Ford. A beautiful, one finger, operation.

I saw that car... it is not nearly as nice as it appears in the posted photos. Not nearly.

Thanks Kube for the info. Is it worth $35K in your opinion or are there surprises awaiting the buyer. Bondo bucket? Hope not.

I have yet in my 78 years ever bought a vehicle that I could not look at in person. Still, every car has had surprises, some good and some not. That being said, if I had the money I would not hesitate to buy a restored car, sight unseen from perfectionists like Kube or David Rehor!

Coop, I waited to see who would point up the battery, should have guessed it would be you! Apparently though, you must have missed the coil and by the way, the distributor has to have been messed with, although the picture lacks detail as proof.

the price is right and the car will sell.
If not here then to someone in the Hamb community.

If the car were perfect, you could prob add 25k to the asking price.

That is an extremely handsome automobile, no mattter what the camera angle. Considering what it would cost to restore such a vehicle, it's price is very low. Nobody noticed the extra tailpipe? That's my kind of 'messing things up'. Thanks for posting.

They have a rumble seat only. No trunk. It just appears to have a trunk.

Am I the only one to make note of what appears to be sealed beam headlights behind clear lens.
Rumble seat and trunk. I don't think so.
Front bumper bars have been shortened, tucking the bumper close to the grille

I think the '39 is a Johnny Cash type of a car.

1939 Ford V8 Convertible Coupe.
While it looks like a Rumble Seat Lid and Trunk Lid, it only appears like that.
Compare the Convertible that is For Sale with this beauty.
They are both the same.
