Im dealing with a barn stored car, though its in better condition than that one,I can sympathize with your pain.I take the small victories and make a day out of it,not looking at the end of the project, just the satisfaction of a days improvement..Id take my Dads late '31 coupe in that condition in a second (it survived the 'holocaust.' last seen in 1969) to drive your grampa's car,to breathe life back into it knowing he and your grandma drove in it to me would be very special.
Thanks for the explanation!! And you're exactly right!! For me it's all gonna be about the first time that car cranks, maybe you should try to track that '3- coupe down??

Well today I got to meet the Dave Bortz that's on the title of my model A! It was great and he was awesome. Telling me stories of the hot rods he had growing up. Brought me some pictures of my Model A that were taken in 1962 when he and his dad had it. Very cool to see how it was back then. He showed up banging gears in this 65? Mustang too

You are lucky to meet him. We have no idea who owned my car before it got pulled from a junk yard. But it would be fun to learn who owned her previously.
