Re: Better place for a Chevy
If I see one more Tri-Five Chevy, I think I shall be ill....
Actually, I don't mind them... Grandad had a '56 Bel-Air Sport- Coupe ( 2 dr HT), yellow w/ black sweep and top, six-cylinder Stovebolt and PowerGlide... wouldn't mind having one of those... The '55 is neat. I really do not understand why they ruined a clean & nifty dash ('55 & '56) with that chunky-clunky re-do for '57... ruins the rest of the car for me. Anymore, when I'm at shows, I walk right on by Tri-Five Bow-ties; I'd rather spend my time looking at something old / unusual. |

I too would rather see something rare or unusual. While I can appreciate the time and effort spent on those cars, they really are over represented at cruise nights and car shows. Guess thats why my ratty ol roadster gets so much attention now. Rarely is anything pre 1955 out in public nowadays. |

Hmmm, another '50s style diner named Peggy Sue's.
The one(s) I'm familiar with are along I 15 in Yermo and Victorville Ca (two locations)....mediocre food in my opinion. Wouldn't be surprised if there were many across the country. Thank you Buddy Holly

Re: Better place for a Chevy
At our regular Wednesday night cruise the predominent car there is the Model A. We get as many as 14 out to the show. There is also a Star and a Chevy that we let park near us to. We have our own "row" and if someone comes earlier than we do, the Host asks them to move!
