Default Chrome shop recommendations

I'm trying to locate a decent chrome shop In Arizona. I want to get my grill and bumpers redone, but can't find anything local.

Right now, I'll take recommendations for a shop anywhere around the southwest. I have a 36 3 window coupe that I need the grill and bumpers done.

Where in AZ, it’s a large state. I have experience with some, the nature of the work would be helpful. How rough are they, do they need straightening and other things.

Details, details!!

The place in Ogden is outrageously expensive. I’ve gotten quotes from them a few times and it’s always really high. The last piece I contacted them about was a hood hinge for a 36 pickup. They quoted me $800. I sent them to a place in Idaho. They came back perfect and cost $116. I’m sure Ogden does good work but I would hope so by what they charge. Just my experience.

A bit of surface rust on the grill. I have 3 bumpers that are in rough condition. Unfortunately, I don't see how to attach my photos.

Ogden wanted 2700.00 to plate my new '33 Ford windshield frame.
I bought one from Trautwein for about 700.00.

Not only is Ogden charging outrageous prices but I use a rod shop for some of my work that built a very high end 59 Chevy sedan delivery which required a large amounts of plating. They used Ogden and a lot of the pieces made a couple of return trips the get quality plating. High prices don't always mean a quality product.

Would be great to know the place that you used . . . as many of us have the need for chrome plating, without having to cut-off an arm.

Satisfied, no doubt.
A '33 dash gauges trim surround. Almost too rare to throw it in the mail; i.e., Fed Ex et. cet.
Thank You -

The place in Idaho is: Northwest Chrome Inc, 420 Industrial Way, New Plymouth, Idaho 83655. Phone number is 208-278-5044.

I have used them to re-plate both bumpers on my avatar. We even got a tour of their facility. I certainly didnt realize that the process was so complex. I certainly recommend them. They are the only plater in Idaho. Hope this helps.

Yes, it was Northwest Chrome. I’ve used them a few times and have been happy each time.
