29 CC Pickup, loose hinge pin fix wanted.

Having replaced the pins I find that on a couple of hinges, the splines are not holding in the top of the hinge due to the holes being worn.
Is there an easy barn yard 'back in the day' type fix to hold them in place or will i have to braze up the holes and re drill them back out to the correct size?.
