Looking for Patten to make header for 28-29 coop any help will be welcome.

Larry You can buy the basic header from most model A vendors and still have the fun and pleasure of making it fit.

You can probably make a decent header from scratch, but for the money the header would cost, it would be much easier to purchase one. The problem is getting the curvature on the top correct, the proper rabbited areas and to get the metal header cover to fit tight against the vertical metal below the header. I got mine with a top wood kit and still had to do a lot of fitting to get it to fit correctly. I would have had much more trouble if I tried to make one and I have had a fair amount of woodworking experience. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and no money, buy one.
