Default Steering box ajusting screw

I have an early 1957 steering box in my 1957 Ford Fairlane and the adjusting screw is as far in as it will go what is wrong and how can I fix this?. Can anyone help me out here?.

the worm gear on the end of the steering shaft is probably wore out, they are replacable if you can find a dealer who has them, they are usually brass and do wear out, the sector gear is steel and very seldom have much wear, you might advertise on here for a good used one

If you can find a donor car, the 58 box is a huge upgrade. The horn wire is external, so you need to re work that. I discovered my 58 had a 57 box in it while trying to wire the horn up. So I put in a 58 box, man what a difference in handling and feel. Mark
