Default Type Front suspension 41 pick-up

Need proven, safe ideas to change front suspension on a 41 pick-up--going to use 53-56 F-1 brakes--(NO MUSTANG II)-- or do I just go with new spring-shackels -drop axel-( or use original)-new king pins--tube shocks--do not want to split wish bones--keep stock steering ? ?-- just want a safe PATINA original old school look and safe driving pick-up.
-----Finish pictures would help---send to [email protected] =Thanks

My '40 has a front axle from a '40 Mercury with a sway bar and tube shocks and it handles pretty nice.

I'm using a 4 in. dropped axle, mono leaf spring, Pete and Jakes tube shocks with stock steering box running Cokers radial tires on my 41. Drives nice, headed to Victoria on Monday.
