New Early V8 Owner, Best Workshop Manual?
Hi, I'm sure this has been asked before but what is the best shop manual to get as reference for working on an early v8? I tried searching the forum but didn't come up with anything. I have just acquired a 1935 Jensen Ford which is basically a 1934-35 Ford powered chassis with a Jensen Body.

A vintage Motors Auto Repair Manual is a good reference. They show up on eBay all the time, e.g.,

A '35 Jensen Ford, now that's very cool Can you post some photos? As previously mentioned, a Motors Manual is a good place to start.

Can you point me to a thread that explains how to upload photos? If so, I'll be happy to post some pics. Cheers, - D

There is some info in the FAQ at the top of this page. Just click on that an page down to find that info. Several ways to do it, some easier than others.
There has been a restored '36 Jensen shown at several of the recent EFV-8C/A National Meets that I have attended. An absolutely gorgeous vehicle. There are a few pictures of the '36 Jensen in my photo's taken at the '11 Auburn CNM. http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...%202011%20CNM/

Re: New Early V8 Owner, Best Workshop Manual?
Hi Douglas, welcome to the forums.
I've seen that '36 Jensen at two meets and it's an amazing piece of work. I even had the chance to crawl under and check it out as I was honored to be a part of the judging of the car. There are many, many custom parts on the '36. If I recall it is one of two. I can't wait to see some photos of your '35. Please tell us all you care to share about the car and how you came to get it in your garage! -VT/JeffH Custom gear shifter because nose has been lengthened, tachometer made to match spedo. |

Re: New Early V8 Owner, Best Workshop Manual?
Never heard that before and I have made many posts with pictures attached. It's possible that your pictures are too large and must be downsized before they can be posted here. Just a thought.
