Model A Pickup Tow Truck
City:
Hollywood
State:
S.C.
Price:
19,900.00
This truck has only 500 miles on a ground up restoration. Only one other pickup tow truck I know to exist and it is in the wrecker museum in Tennessee. Truck has mohair interior with headliner and backsplash (this is not original but nice. Also carpet inside. )Boom is manley and has many extras. Please send private message if interested. I can mail pictures to your email but will try to put one on ad. My computer skills are a little weak. Wheels are 16 inch powder coat to carry extra weight and boom is supported with box tube bolt in hidden under the bed so it can be removed in 15 minutes to use as a pickup. This truck has been in four real car/truck shows and has taken best in class in every one. You can call me at 843-889-8377 thanks Bobby
Thanks to everyone I figured it out and squashed a picture for the first time! Bobby Last edited by Bolensboneyard; 01-24-2014 at 04:09 PM. Reason: price, picture |

Bobby:
Think the extra 50 cents in your price might be holding some potential buyers back. Also, I believe a picture is worth a thousand words and telling everyone that you won't send photos unless they can "meet the price" is a bit touchy. If you really want to sell the vehicle you might attract more potential buyers by using some "bait" (photos posted here). Not sure where you determined that there are only two pickup tow trucks in existence - there's one in my local Model A Club here in Texas. Just my 2 cents. Fred

Re: Model A Pickup Tow Truck
Only one of two? Seems suspicious to me, I've seen several....
Of course pictures could dispel any doubts, and sell the truck! This add is useless without pictures! |

Re: Model A Pickup Tow Truck
Thanks for the help. Not trying to insult anyone just don't know how to upload pictures to this site and was trying to eliminate sending pictures to everyone who has not seen a pickup tow truck. I will try to get pic. on the ad any help appreciated. Never saw another pickup wrecker or heard of one except in the museum What boom is on the one in texas? Only two types were made that fit the pickup. thanks Bobby

Open your picture for editing. I use MicrosoftOffice Picture Manager. Click on "Edit Pictures" Click on "Resize" In the Predifined width x height box select "Web - Large" Then "Save As" in a different file for posting. If you just save it your original picture will be changed so be careful of that. Once made smaller you can’t go back bigger.

Go to www.photobucket.com and join up. Its free and easy. Then follow the simple instructions to upload your pics. Very easy if you know where your pics are on a computer After you have uploaded them go to the library part of photobucket. Copy the IMG line under the pic Paste that into a new thread or reply on here - or any forum for that matter and you are gold. Hope that helps.
