Default 1936 Ford Roadster Info

I am looking to find out roughly how many original 1936 roadsters still exist today. Any info would be really great. Thanks!

Interesting question, originally 3862 were made. I'm not sure how you could find the answer. If your wondering how many 36 roadsters belong to Ford Barn members then I have one.

Hi 36 Ford Roadster Owners, I have contacted the Gentleman who is gathering information on all 1936 Ford Roadsters that are still surviving, and he has given me permission to list his email address. His name is Grant Fleming at:[email protected] . I am sure that he would appreciate all owners of 1936 Ford Roadsters to contact him.
Regards Mercman <><

Great info guys and all very nice cars! I just acquired a really nice original roadster out of an estate in Rhode Island. It has a McCullough supercharger on it and a Columbia two speed rear. I'll contact Grant and see how many he has listed and add mine to his list.

There are slightly over 200 listed in the V8 club registry. Hard to guess how many exist that do not belong to club members, not licensed, unrestored, or just hiding in a barn somewhere.

Thanks for the enlargement. I have it up high on jack stands so I can do
a complete brake adjustment by the service manual and service every-
thing on the bottom. Everything looks like brand new, car hasn't been
driven 200 miles in over 40 years and has been stored in AC building
with humidistats. Only thing so far was a couple light bulbs and the
speedo changer for the Columbia rear which was never installed because
it has a radio and there is no room for stock changer. I have that figured
out. I repaired the AC in the building and was sitting there timing the run
time looking at the 36 from a distance and thought what a beautiful looking
car. Everything looks so fitting with the shapes all flowing together.
Top, long rear deck, doors rolling into the dash, shape of fenders running
boards, tires and spider hub caps. The only thing I would change is the
door mounted mirrors. They are to low and hard to see through. G.M..

Hi Dan, I know the car well. I tried to buy it from your Uncle and
later from your mother 50 years ago. Nice solid old roadster. G.M.
