Its 19% right now which is low. Usually its in the 30 - 50% range id say. But of course it varies.
I would think the drier the space, the less discharge at startup as it more quickly evaporates? |

Less water vapor (humidity) is drawn into the combustion chamber with lower outside humidity. You are fighting high humidity and H2O as a by-product of combustion.

Temperature has more to do with it. The warmer it is, the sooner the exhaust system gets hot enough to evaporate the moisture which is formed inside the engine by the combustion process.

I could be wrong, but it's always been my understanding that water vapor is one of the byproducts of combustion, so in that sense the relative humidity doesn't really factor too much.
