Default 1939 Spider Hub Cap

Which cap is original & which is a repro? I'm having trouble trying to keep one style on. They keep popping off the wheel. The first photo shows both side by side. The next 2 photos are each type of cap. The middle cap is the one that keeps popping off. It has a rolled edge where it goes over the wheel clips.v

My two cents . . . may be only worth half cent. "They keep popping off the wheel."

'They' suggests aftermarket.
Surely you wouldn't have bad, bad, bad, bad luck each time you chose an original. If you bought four originals together . . . and they all pop off, hmm. You just happened to get four original 'rejects' that 'stayed' together for 80 years? I doubt it. Thank you!
