upholstery for bottom portion of front seat 31 sw

My uphostery on the bttom portion of the front seat driver side in my 31 sw is showing wear most noticeably around the edge. The threads are coming off the plastic wire around the edge at the top of the seat . My question is can I puchase new upholstery for the bottom of the front seat only ? This is an old ,old restoration ( earl 80`s ) but other than this location the upholstery looks good . It is mohair ,moth green .
Or do I just take it to a local upholdtery shop and see what they can do with it . As usual I appreciate every ones input .
