Default CLUTCH

Is it ok to put the flywheel and clutch from a pickup ( 11" ), into a 54 Ford car with original 3sp overdrive ? If there are no bad side effects,I would like to use these parts to save having to buy others. Thanks, bill

10 1/2 or 11 inch will work. Some flywheels

are drilled for both.

Somewhere in those years pickups still used a 1 3/8" dia. input shaft and cars used a 1 1/16" dia. shaft. I don't remember when they changed but check this too.
