55 Mercury Montclair Restoration
I'm helping my neighbor on his 55 Merc resto and am currently looking for a carb rebuild kit for the original Holley center float 4 barrel. Napa used to list them but has dropped the number. Any ideas about sources? Also we are wondering what the original engine color would be. There are some patches of a faded yellow still on the block, but are too bad to use for matching. Any ideas on sources for the correct engine paint? Thanks in advance <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Try Vintage Auto Parts, Inc. www.vapinc.com They show overhaul kits for most Holleys. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Hello Terry, I hope you find your parts. I am doing the same thing with my 55 Mercury and am in need of a few parts. Do you have any extras or know where a person may find any. I need 1. The two strips of crome under each door that run from the front to back wheel well. 2. Short piece of crome that goes around front fender just under the head light. 3. Both tail light lense. 4. Trunk lock assembly Thanks, Bill <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
