Trans seal
I have a 49 Ford 3 speed OD and was wondering is the rear seal in the transmission the same as the one in a non OD tranny thanks Rob

Yes they're the same FORD part number: 21C-7052A,
& Same dimensions , i.e. same : ID , OD&WIDTH. |

Does the felt go towards the transmission or drive shaft the current one has some kind of extended rubber the one i purchased is a 21C-7052A

Felt side goes out (towards the driveshaft yoke).
