Default What color is my car ?

Trying find out the original color of my 1929 Coupe. The "VIN" number is A548085. The dash panel and door inners are a sea green type color. Indications the Trans. bell housing was the same color. However, the motor side of firewall is a navy blue like color. No help with the body. It was repainted a crazy faded metal flake blue about the time the Civil War ended. Also can anyone tell if its a Standard or Special ? Any history I could obtain would be appreciated. Thanks

Pictures would help. The VIN (motor number) does not indicate color or body style.

Your engine was built on Oct 22, 1928.
Does the engine match the frame number?
The national clubs give a three month leeway from the time the engine was built to when the car was assembled. (FYI is was common to register the car in the year it was sold not the year it was made.)

As for colors I'm going to assume the 1929 year.

You may want to look underneath the dash panel or the back side of the panel. I found the original color of my huckster under the panel.

As was stated-pictures are worth a 1000 words. Plus maybe include your location as someone may be close enough to swing by and give you a hand.
