Gentlemen, Thank You All. Beginning to see the picture. If you are gonna trailer it to show it, get the original type tires. But, I want to drive it! Only makes sense to get a modern tire that will work.. thanks!

Also, as an after thought, I don't look for 65 year old parts to keep my Champ flying?

Go with Coker! They have modern white wall radials! and they dont take a stock tire and apply the white wall like Diamond Back.

Diamondback have been doing this for a long time its no secrect, I haven't heard of problems, I haven't had any.. Yet people talk about Cokers all the time . I know someone who bought 5 from Coker, 4 of them had to be replaced.. I admit that was a while ago, hope they have uped their game.

I have 4 Coker Classics that can't be balanced. They told me at Hershey that they would take care of me, but when I called in a few days, they never called me back. I'll buy something else next time.

Having heard many stories about coker WW tires turning yellow /discoloring I went with Diamond back about 4 cars ago and have never had any problems. Just ordered another set for a 36 Ford I just bought.
