When BOB DRAKE first started business, and made his own parts, he had SUPER quality parts. He had a great reputation. Then when he started having all his parts made in China, he went through a period of very loose quality control. Almost none of his parts fit correctly. When a customer would call about it, they got the "run-around".
I believe that he has learned his lesson. I don't think that he wants any more bad parts to get out of his shop now ! I don't think that he wants any more bad publicity.
Let's see how he does from here on out.

From my conversation with Bob,he IS looking into the Alliance Deal.

I believe the Hamber's will accept that with open arms,,here on the Ford Barn there are just too many people that have a axe to grind with Mr. Drake,,but that is just my opinion based on all the negativity. HRP

I am using his SS fuel tank, his SS truck mirrors, his fuel filler, his headlight trim rings, his frame cushion kit. I used one of his hinge pin extractors, lets just say that tapped SS does not hold up well to my abuse. When I used to play with the dread OT Mustang any and all of the stuff was import from Taiwan, you could by a chrome bumper for a 65 for $109, the chrome would start to fail in 6 months on almost anything that had it. Overall the quality of any reproduced part has increased a lot in the last 25 years through all sources. I don't recall ever really being able to buy repop parts for a stang even 30 years ago that were made in the US, there was always that little gold Taiwan sticker on them.
