Default 29 woodie

Is this the real deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1929-...ht_1092wt_1165

Seems a low price for a woodie.

I don't if it is real or not, but they had it posted on the Model A section on Facebook. They are looking for a quick sale as they fell on hard times. I hope it sells to help them out.

Notice that the auction says "reserve not met". The 500$ price is the starting biding. It will not sell until it meets the reserve, which may be many thousands.

Too late, it's gone for $15,000.

I'm sure a day of very mixed feelings for the owners.

interesting, when I saw it yesterday in the AM it was at 18k, someone must have backed out a bid.

Sorta of a strange deal.. If you click on the bidders by bid history, all the bids have been cancelled due to this explanation - " Vehicle was damaged in transport today and is no longer sale able"
?

Strange, the winning bid came in 2 minutes after the last cancellation.

This is how it was advertised on Face Book: Appraised at 24k, originally asking 20k, but will consider all offers-- nothing will insult us-- just inbox me or email [email protected]

Sounds very suspicious to me! I am willing to bet that the low bidder was one of the family!
