Default 29 Headlights

I have a set of 29 Ford Black Headlights that came off of a roadster pickup that were removed to replace with chrome ones that are in excellent condition that a guy that i know wants buy but I don't know what I should ask for

Around here (Phoenix) a nice set of '28-'29 headlights, nickel plated, plating worn but not corroded, with fluted lenses, good reflectors, etc., just sold for $130 at the last Goodguys meet. I'd say $80-$100 would be a fair price. IMHO of course. Ned

A good complete set sells for about $100.00.

Are you guys talking about used reproduction foreign made ? I would think nice original complete headlight sets would be worth $200 for steel and more for nice nickel . Reproduction stainless foreign made are around $ 350 .

It's so hard to say. It's like anything- it's worth what you can sell it for. My guess is that it depends on what part of the country you live in. I'd say $80-$100. Mike (above) disagrees and I won't argue the point. Maybe he could get $300? I have too much junk in my garage to hold onto them that long.
