Default Upholstery Source ?

Now that La Barron Bonney is gone, who is the go to source for original upholstery?

I used LB many times. After they went under I purchased the mohair from Hirsch and had a local guy do my seats. I bought the last of the rose beige mohair that Hirsch had. He told me that the mill in England went out of business. No more broadcloth for headliners or mohair. They might have been able to find a source since I last spoke with them.So far I have not found anyone that would replace LB.

I'm no expert on woodies, but I suspect they used leather on the seats. I think you are close to the border, so I would go to Tijuana and get some good leather and maybe leave the seats with a good shop in the area. For a headliner and windlace you can go to Acme Headliners in the L.A. area. They can make a headliner for you and it was alleged that they did them for LB.
