Question 1940 Door Latch...

I am new to this forum so Hi. I was told that I could find the answer to a question on this Forum. I have a 1940 Ford pickup. I need to romove the latch so I can replace the springs in the door. I believe one pin is broken. How do you remove the latch without taking the window out?
