When we toured the Ford Plant in 1966 watching them build new Mustangs, we
were on a GMC bus with a Ford logo on the side.......

Henry went to his final resting place in a Caddy (I think). At any rate it was not a Ford or Lincoln.

Henry rode to his eternal resting place in a Packard. Paybacks are hell.

We rode in a gm bus when taking the Ford plant tour about the same time as Dodge. Some smart as pointed that out to the tour guide. She answered we were riding in a giant mustang!

Imagine what the final gear ratio would have to be for that little bitty truck with the little bitty motor would have to be to pull that load!

I worked as a mechanic at a GMC dealer in the 50's. We had a customer that transported new Chrysler products. Chrysler insisted that he used a Dodge truck instead of his GMC, so ... he changed the cab to a Dodge.

Well, he had the last laugh - Packard is no more but Ford and Lincoln still are.
