I have an original LH running board for all 37's, all 38's and 39 standard. It is showing very little wear but has become very brittle. It is cracking and pieces are coming loose. It looks very good now, but it will deteriorate with exposure. It can be saved by carefully sealing all the cracks with super glue. I can tell you the procedure for a complete fix. I don't want to pack and ship it so here is the deal: if you want it for your own car, not for resale, if you can pick it up I will gladly give it to you.
