Default step plates

I'm going to mount my step plates on my 30 coupe. Is there a certain spot they are to be in or just where your comfortable with?

Where ever you feel comfortable with. They were not factory.

Look to see where you place your foot on the running board. That would be the most logical spot to install the step plate.

Try a little chalk dust on your shoe and see if it leaves a mark on the running board as you get out of the car. TB
