Default Picture of display engine's bottom

I still can't post pictures here. Mental block. I have, however managed to post a picture of the bottom side of the engine, all buttoned up, on facebook. Take a look see. I post on Facebook under the name Lawson Cox, of all things. It is about ready to roll back over and start hanging some goodies on the top side. I like pretty bottoms. LOL

Lawson, Do you want all the pieces as correct as possible? If so, bolts and lock washers through the pan should be S2 - raven black.

I appreciate the compliments fellows. I am sort of pleased with the project/progress so far.

Thanks Will D and V8Coopman for posting the pictures for me. I have always propped up the front of an engine on this kind of stand with a 2x4, Charlie NY. The old rug is from our Keeping room. I wish I had not put it down. I can't hear it when I drop something small and then it disappears in the rug pattern. I still cannot locate a wing nut off of an air cleaner. And Kube, I thought maybe the pan bolts should be Raven black. I should have posted a question but then I said to myself that nobody is going to get down on their hands and knees and check them over, so I'm gonna just leave them as is. After all, I DO wanna get this engine done before I ride off into the sunset. Knowing me I'll probably redo them, Good Lord willing... but I do have a sick child to get running right again.

I have quite a few parts ready to hang on when I flip the engine over. My next little bit of prep is to blue the engine head nuts, tips of the studs and the H10 coke bottle spark plugs.

Nope, probably won't. Give me your direct email address and I'll get you to take a couple of pictures of an engine stand for me while you are there if you would. My direct email is [email protected].

Lawson,
What is the stick poking out of the engine bottom? I have a wrinkled empty slot there.
My A has a split pin

Look very carefully and I believe you will see a big cotter key that has just BARELY begun to be split and bent. DD

when I flip the engine over. Sure hope that you don't flip that engine over, altho that engine stand you have will flip over if you are not careful, I do not like the three legged engine stands.

Yeah. I'm always very careful doing that.

Probably not. Kube says no. He's the 40 guru. This engine is 39 commercial.

The stand I have in mind has a cutaway engine on it. a later than early 30s engine. I am not really computer literate when it comes to forwarding emails w/pictures.
