In case you haven't seen Strong's Garage on YouTube, I find it fun. It's two fellows from Canada (North of Edmonton). The run an old car repair shop using old tools and feature quite a few Fords.

After watching more than one episode, I see why they mentioned that you stopped the video when you saw the promotional truck poster that was in the bathroom.................they drink so much coffee that they had to go.

I like that they are younger than most and seem to know what they are doing -- or if not, they purchase or have on hand as many Factory Service Bulletins as they can find.

Strongs Garage is a very good YouTube channel. I knew Jim from Coldwarmotors, another great YouTube channel. Matt and Jim do great work and are always a pleasure to watch.

I really enjoyed the recent one on pouring babbit and machining the connecting rod. They really do it with some nice old equipment, it really is a lost art.

Yes I really enjoy their channel. They know what they are talking about too. I like the fact that when they are working on old cars they use old tools (and fix old tools to work with). You never see them using power ratchets and rattle guns. Like Mart says there is crossover with Cold War Motors.....another great channel.

I really enjoy Strongs Garage and the Ford Model 51 book. I have two model 51's and I even bought two books, one for my home library and one for my shop library. One of my Ford Model 51 had a lost title and registration so I had to take the truck to the local Highway Patrol office to get the vin number verified. I took the Model 51 book with me to show the patrol officer where to find the frame number and how to verify the year truck and he used the book to verify my truck!
