Default Repro 1940 Deluxe die cast grilles

Based on your experiences, how do you rate the die cast grilles from Drake, CWMoss, Speedway, and "made in the US" suppliers?

I believe Drake is the best. Unfortunately when I needed a grill there were no Drakes availiable so i settled for a Vintique. Not a good choice.

I have bought 2 40- DeLuxe grilles from DRAKE over the past 30 years.
They are excellent quality and fit great. Not cheap but, worth the money.

CWMoss is a Drake distributor. I’d guess the one they sell is Drake.

Is C.W. Moss the retail store for Vintique?

Once again buy directly from Drake. Accept no alternatives.

You can tell a Vintique from an original or Drake from as far away as you can see it. Look at the line in the casting near the fender where each bar comes to the edge. The Vintique grille sides the openings between the bars looks like stair steps coming up from the bottom, On Drakes and originals that is a smooth line that matches the contour of the fender.

Drake all the way. As a dealer for both, there is no comparison

I was just there today, go there a lot for parts now. They sell everything, Drake, Vintique, Dennis Carpenter, etc. Most of the items I get from them are Drake.
