Default Fuel Gauge Interface Module

Has anyone tried one of these?

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Fuel-G...ule,66534.html

I have a stock 36 fuel gauge and a sending unit & repro tank from Tanks Inc.

http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...rod/prd276.htm

Of course it doesn't read right & I was wondering if this could be a solution to the problem.
Any thoughts??
Thank you,
Joe

The Tanks Inc. units are working quite well in the avatar pickup. I did run the sender and gauge on the bench befor installation. That was to be sure of the arm travel and gauge reading.

I don't have one, but I viewed the instructions, and it looks very good to me. Given today's technology, this should be a simple application. Plus, there are two reviews by folks that have used it, and they were both very satisfied.

I installed the fuel gauge interface module & it works!!
When I first turn on the key, the needle goes past the full mark, but then it comes down to where it's supposed to be.
I've been checking it with an ohm meter & the needle is right where it should be.

in todays modern cars a gauge sweep is not uncommon at key on. Then settles to fuel level resistance. Sounds like its workin like a charm.
