Would like info on installing fender welting on the front fenders of a 34. Any secrets on the procedure? Thanks Stan

Re: 34 ford fender welting
it runs from side to side in one piecee and is attached to the transition piece between the fenders directly below the peak of the bottom of the grille with a binding head screw.

Take your time and mark every hole, use a punch for the bolts to go through. Check with third gen, he may have the good welting like original. Ken

Re: 34 ford fender welting
Thanks Ken I got it from Third Gen. I wanted the old style stuff with SOLID CORE iT ALLOWS YOU TO MAKE A BEND AND WONT FLATTEN OUT.The other style with plastic tubing for the core flattens out when bending for the end of a run. Stan

Besides making the bolt holes, you may need to make some V cuts on the flat portion when having to do a curve.
